Charterers who have enjoyed a Bareboat Charter in Queensland with us
We had a great time and enjoyed exploring the coast line of the islands, the snorkelling was memorable, the whales amazing - one surfaced about 50m off the stern of Out of the Blue.

This was our 5th time chartering a yacht around the Whitsundays but the first time we have used Whitsunday Rent a Yacht. I have used two of your major competitors in the past and while I have nothing terrible to say about them I can definitely say that our experience using WRAY was the best yet. Your team at all times had a fantastic positive attitude and provided us with fantastic customer service and also gave us enough freedom to enjoy our holiday without being militant about making every single sched.

Just a quick note to express my sincere thanks to all at Whitsunday Rent A Yacht for one of the most fantastic, unforgettable, trouble free holidays aboard Felix during May this year.
Although a month has passed and I am back at work in the good old RSA,
Also a special word of thanks to Bruce for his friendly, professional approach during his briefing and de-briefing sessions. He covered every aspect of the charter and left us with no frustrating guesswork. (Thanks Mate !!!) The only problem we had was to decide whether to return to harbour after the charter was up or to head out to the wild blue yonder and see if you could ever find us !!!!
If your 'Stinger suit competition' is still on the go - here's one for your gallery. Also one of the 'Titanic' (that's a XXXX in the Captain's hand) and one of a very 'stressed-out First Mate' !!!

this experience will stay with me forever. Luckily we took a lot of photos so I am able to handle the withdrawal symptoms.

Firstly we would love to thank you for our wonderful Whitsunday Islands sailing holiday.
Everything went smoothly, as to have 12 people and not one hiccup is absolutely fantastic, and a special thankyou to Chris as he was fantastic, as Cat Whiskas our boys had no sailing experience, and Chris showed the boys the ropes, and then our boys had a wonderful time sailing. Once again, thank you very much we all very much appreciated it, hopefully soon we shall return.

Many thanks for your follow up letter following our recent charter on Surprise. As you probably noted from our survey form
A couple of additional notes for you;
1. Everything started going right from the moment we made our initial enquiries having chartered before in 2004.
While the people may have changed in the office the level of service and attention to detail was spot on. I had done some cost comparisons and while a competitor came close on price the past experience factor made Whitsunday Rent a Yacht the obvious choice again.
2. And it got better, with a phone call from Vanessa the day before we were due to go out asking if we could make an 8am briefing. This was a huge bonus for us and really gave us an extra day on the water with a great sail over to Cid Harbour for the night.
3. The briefing was excellent, laid back but thorough, with good tips on where to go and where to moor.
4. The boat was a delight. Last time we had Felix and we stepped up to the Luxury model this time with Surprise. Everything on board worked, was clean and well presented. Our English visitors called it their 'Hilton on the water with ever changing views.'
5. Provisioning – we took the standard option again and, again, were delighted with the choice and variety. We honestly cannot see why anyone would try and do it themselves.
6. Return and debrief – this was particularly special for our youngest member, young Will (13), who had grown so attached to his mask and snorkel that he asked if he could buy it. Brian directed him to the office where Vanessa made his trip by gifting it to him….
Add to the above that we saw whales on three separate days, close enough to almost touch on two occasions, dolphins, turtles, myriad fish and sunsets out of picture books and you have the perfect holiday.
Thanks again to you and your team. We'll be back.

...everything 'just worked' beautifully but that doesn't really do the experience justice

We had a wonderful holiday abourd Capricorn and could not have been happier with how evcerything worked out. Spoke to our travel agent yesterday and told him how great everything was and told him that I would highly recommend you guys. He had never booked anything before and was anxious to hear all about it - he had asked for me to call back and tell him all about it when I returned.
We would certainly like to do it again. Not sure when that would be. Our previous charter was in '97 so hope it isn't a ten year gap this time! The friends we were with were also very keen to go again (it was their first time) so we would certainly hope to see you again sometime.

Thanks again for a fabulous holiday - the whitsundays must be one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.
You guys are fortunate to be there!

We have been keen boating and sailing enthusiasts for many, many years. As a result meeting WRAY staff at the 2008 Melbourne Boat Show we booked a seven day sailing trip with you for March 2009. (This was my wife Lyn's 50th birthday present) Some of our family have not done much open water sailing and we tried to impress on them the great adventure it would be sailing the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, even though at that stage we had only seen photos and heard stroies from other keen sailors that had visited and sailed the islands.
That was before we boarded the L-atitude. Wow what a yacht!
We had an absolutely fantastic time, L-atitude was by far the best yacht we have sailed in the past 20 years I'd have to say, exceptional!
The first few days of 25 - 30+ Knot winds were a challenge at the start but L-atitude handled the conditions beautifully and we had a ball. By the end of the trip we had 7 sailors on board hauling the mainsail up a dn tacking on the job, flying across the choppy water.
We will most definitely be returning to the Whitsundays most probably next year but at a later time in the year and for longer. Seven days was not enough to see all the islands. Our adult children are keen scuba divers and the longer trip next time will allow them more dive time. The fish life around the reef areas at Hook Island were spectacular.
Thank you again for such a magical holiday.

We all had an amazing vacation… relaxing, fun and so incredibly special
We are already planning our next holiday in July 2011, and will be in touch sometime next year to get preparation started !
Thankyou also for your recommendation of the butcher we used … the most tender meat any of us have ever eaten.
We have been singing your praises … I have recommended you to everyone from our cab driver to work colleagues !
Thanks again one and all
Cheers
