I have never bareboat chartered before
Bareboating ('sail or drive' yourself boat charter holidays) cruising and exploring the 74 Whitsunday Islands offers freedom, adventure and value unrivaled by any other holiday experience.
What's bareboating?
Bareboating is when you choose the vessel size and type most suitable for your group and your budget and you 'skipper' it yourself, taking along friends or family as your crew to share the fun.Imagine the exhiliration of being at the helm of your 'own' boat.
Is it safe?
Bareboating is safe and easy. All vessels are fully equipped for your convenience and comfort. And we're only a radio call away should you need assistance for advice. We speak with you at least twice daily on scheduled radio calls and you can call us anytime throughout the day.How much experience do I need ?
No boating license is required and only minimum boating experience is needed. When chartering a sailing yacht you need to be at least 'wind wise'. If you can't sail and don't wish to learn, why not charter a motor cruiser? How do you prepare us for charter ?
Everyone regardless of experience, at the commencement of charter, receives approx. 3 hour area briefing followed by a dockside vessel familiarisation then 'hands on' sailing or motoring instruction as you travel in the direction of your first overnight anchorage. What sort of vessel should we choose ?
Sailing yachts from 2 to 12 berthSailing catamarans 2 to 10 berth
Motor cruisers 2 to 10 berth
