This is the most comprehensive scenic flight on offer from Airlie Beach!

Relax in absolute comfort as our seaplanes showcase the main group of the Whitsunday Isles and the breathtaking expanse of the Great Barrier Reef marine park. During the course of this 60 minute scenic flight you will take in views of Shute Harbour, the Molle Group of Islands, Daydream Island, Whitsunday Passage, Hayman Island, Hook Island, Whitsunday Island (the largest national park island in the group), Whitehaven Beach, the amazing swirling sands of Hill Inlet and then accelerate across the Coral Sea to Bait Reef, home of the amazing stepping stones, Hook Reef and Hardy Lagoon (the most photographed location of the entire Great Barrier Reef marine park!). We will also show off one of our biggest natural wonders to you, the perfectly shaped Heart Reef.

Reef Adventure Tour (3 hours)

Departing daily, our seaplanes showcase the amazing expanse of the Great Barrier Reef from above sea level before landing and transferring to our private semi- submersible at Hardy Reef to experience its beauty from below sea level. Enjoy two hours of coral viewing and snorkelling from the comfort of our glass bottom boat moored inside the calm confined waters of Hardy Lagoon; a coral suspended lagoon in the Great Barrier Reef marine park. Easy access into the water from the rear platform of the vessel ensures passengers of all snorkelling skill levels can enjoy this exclusive reef location in ease. The vessel also has an underwater viewing chamber, sun and shade deck areas and is equipped with all snorkelling equipment and flotation devices.

Great Barrier Reef by Fast Catamaran

Economical and comfortable a full day trip to the reef can be arranged for you departing from Shute Harbour or Hamilton Island. Fully equipped underwater viewing pontoon, patrolled snorkelling area and coral sub rides are only part of the activities available to the visitor. All meals are provided and during holiday periods early booking is essential through our reception or over the radio.

Airlie Beach has attractive parkland and two beautiful marinas (Abel Point Marina and Shute Harbour - home to Whitsunday Rent A Yacht).  Although the beach is small, it is lined with trees, allowing you to take in the beauty and stay cool during your Airlie Beach adventure. There are also several other beaches along the coast, which are secluded and only a short drive away.

Airlie Beach is a-buzz with nightlife - your Airlie Beach activities may include a visit to the many pubs or clubs along the main street.
