drive south. International access to the Whitsundays

into Proserpine from most major cities in

Coach companies operate regular daily services
between major cities and the Whitsundays.
Road
:
If you drive to the Whitsundays the roads
are in excellent condition and pass through
charming towns and villages and some beautiful
scenery along the way.
Travelling

Taxis :
Companies operate from Airlie Beach, Proserpine
and on Hamilton Islands.
Water Taxis :
Operate from the coast and all island resorts,
with air taxis operating between most island
resorts and the coast.
Buses :
Bus companies operate regular services between
Proserpine and Shute Harbour, with coordinated
services to meet ferry transfers.
There is also a daily service to Mackay airport.
Ferries :
Ferries depart from Shute Harbour at regular
intervals for transfers to the islands and
reef.
