Stay and play
Charter yachts are welcome at any of the Whitsunday resorts. A fee generally applies (between $50 to $100 per vessel per night). The facilities vary at each island, but once you've paid your fee, you're entitled to use facilities such as swimming pools and laundries, and purchase goods such as meals, beverages, ship supplies and souvenirs. You're also welcome to dine out and enjoy the entertainment on offer. For more information about anchoring or mooring at Whitsunday resorts, contact us.
Hamilton Island resorts
Sail to Hamilton Island resort for a little retail therapy, a spa visit or to enjoy the restaurants and atmosphere of this renowned boaties' playground. Enjoy a drink at the spectacular nautically-designed Hamilton Island Yacht Club or get active with go-karting, golf, helicopter rides and more. In August the island hosts the annual Hamilton Island Race Week which attracts sailing enthusiasts from all over the world.
Overnight stopovers are permitted in the marina and will attract a berthing fee. The island's airport has flights arriving daily from major state capitals and it's possible to arrange pick up and drop off of your charter vessel here.

Long Island Resort
Long Island, close to the coast just south of Shute Harbour, is home to Long Island Resort (formerly Club Crocodile), probably the most accessible and inexpensive Whitsunday Island resort, perfect for families and groups.
Nestled under a lush tropical canopy, Long Island Resort boasts activities for all ages from golf to water sports and bird-feeding. Long Island itself has more than 20 kilometres of bushwalking tracks offering picturesque hiking. Just 150 metres offshore lies fringing reef where snorkellers see colourful coral and fish. Moorings are available for a fee in Happy Bay, which then provides you with the 'keys to the resort'!

Laguna Whitsundays Resort
Located about 40 minutes' drive from Airlie Beach and 20 minutes' from Proserpine, Laguna Whitsundays Resort is set among 3,000 hectares of pristine bushland and rainforest.

Formerly known as South Molle Island Resort, in 2010 the resort had a makeover and is now known as Koala Adventure Island. This resort is designed for the over 18s and aimed at kicking back, relaxing and having fun. Known as the 'happy resort', beach volleyball, pool games and table tennis are all part of the daytime action. By night, a resident DJ will keep you dancing into the early hours!
Accommodation ranges from beachfront bungalows to hotel-style suites and rooms with bunk facilities for groups. Resort facilities include a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts and a large resort pool.
