The Whitsunday Islands are a water lover’s playground. There are many above-the-water activities such as stand up paddle boarding and kayaking to add to your charter holiday experience.

Kayaking

Kayaking is a relaxing and peaceful way to explore the narrow inlets and estuaries of the Whitsunday islands, some of which go for many kilometres. There’s nothing more to do than listen to the water gently lapping the kayak surrounded by sounds of the bush. A safe and enjoyable activity suitable for all ages and abilities, kayaking is easy for beginner paddlers to pick up.

Kayaks

Single and double kayaks and sailboards can be hired for the duration of your charter.  Order in advance for equipment to be loaded on to your vessel before you arrive. Fees apply.

Stand up paddle boarding

One of the fastest growing sports in the world, stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is a laid-back water activity that’s easy to learn, lots of fun and provides a great workout. The calm, flat water of the Whitsundays is perfect whether you’re trying SUP for the first time or testing your skills in our tropical waters. All it takes is some focus, balance and the willingness to fall off a few times!
