Visiting a Whitsundays Island Resort on a Bareboat Charter
Four resorts in the Whitsundays have the capacity to welcome charter yacht guests, however, Hamilton Island is the easiest to book and stay at while on a bareboat charter.
Stopping in at Hamilton Island resort for a day or a night or two can be a great addition to your bareboat charter. When you book a berth, you are given access to the resorts facilities such as the pools, restaurants, shops and activities such as ten-pin bowling, nature park exploring or a day of water sports.
For convenience, you can arrange for Whitsunday Rent a Yacht to deliver or pick up your vessel from Hamilton Island Marina, subject to availability, – Vessel delivery can work particularly well for people who fly directly into Hamilton Island airport and don’t need to visit the mainland.
To book a berth at any of the island resorts, talk to our reservations team who can provide details for self booking (or place a booking on your behalf at Hamilton Island) Payments for the berth are made on arrival.
Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is a very popular inclusion on our bareboat itineraries. Overnight stopovers are welcome in the marina and attract a berthing fee. You will need to book your berth at the Hamilton Island marina before arriving through our head office and before bringing your boat in, you can connect to the marina via your boat’s radio.
The Island’s airport has flights arriving daily from state capitals. Due to the airport, many charterers opt to start their bareboating holiday from the Hamilton Island Marina, arranging for their vessel to be either picked up or dropped off.
