How does a skipper yourself yacht charter work?
Often referred to as a bareboat charter, which means a yacht that doesn’t come with a crew, skipper yourself yacht charters are the ultimate freedom. When you sail your own charter yacht in the Whitsundays, you don’t need a license or qualification. No sailing experience is required.
You’re given a training session before you set sail and you can always opt for a sail guide at a daily rate if you want more time with an experienced skipper. Your vessel is fully stocked with all of the comforts, kitchen appliances and bedding you will need.
You are required to bring your food, however, we can make provisioning arrangements for you so that when you board your fridge is stocked, the bubbles are cold and a seafood platter is waiting for your first romantic evening.
